SouthWestern Aviation was started by John and Nancy Martin in 2002 and has been operating on Benson Municipal Airport ever since. SouthWestern Aviation was the first commercial operation on the new Benson airport and has played a major role in the operation and growth of the airport.

Today, SouthWestern Aviation, LLC continues to operate from Benson Municipal Airport (E95) and also provides rental aircraft and flight instruction from Sierra Vista Municipal Airport / Libby (FHU).
